Spots enables you to gather the most beautiful Spots around the world for future adventures by exploring locations shared by fellow community members. You can also submit your own Spots & organize your favorite locations into Collections and curate your own mini-travel guides.

The optimal way to familiarize yourself with Spots is by scrolling the 'Top Spots' tab. Here, you'll find the curated locations feed, which serve as the primary source of inspiration. Explore various Spots and add the ones that pique your interest to your Collections.

If you have a specific destination in mind, simply use the search tab to look up a country, city, or type of location. This will allow you to browse Spots shared by the community within that specific area.

As you save and bookmark Spots, our algorithm will adapt to your preferences and Spots will suggest more locations tailored to your tastes.

Yes, Spots is currently a free app with no advertisements. Our goal is to provide photographers and travelers with a community that enhances their journey around the world.

The Top Spots section is our list of the absolute most breathtaking locations around the world curated by our team of professional photographers and creators. In our initial Spots app, the entire app was a curated experience. In Spots 2.0 we’ve opened the app up to everyone. In order to keep the core Spots experience premium and curated, we are continuing to curate the most premium locations all into one consolidated section of the app called Top Spots.

Our guidelines are pretty straight forward.The Spot must first and foremost be visually captivating. The Spot must be a new location not already in the Top Spots section. The photo must be of high quality. No blurry, low res, or screenshots from other platforms will be accepted. For best chances to be added to the Top Spots list you should export your images at higher resolution.

A Spot is an exact location in the world, submitted by a Spots user. It always includes a photo, a name and profile link of the user that submitted the Spot. It usually includes a text description and category tags. On Spots you can upload your own Spots as well as you can find Spots that others have shared.

A Collection is where you organize all of your favorite Spots into different lists. You can organize them by city, by location type, create travel guides. You can collaborate on Collections by inviting other Spots users to contribute to the same collection. This allows all users in the shared collection to save their favorite Spots in Barcelona for example for an upcoming trip they’re going on together. You can make your Collection public for everyone to view or private.
